“Dispute resolution at NCAT, insights from the bench” The Honourable Robertson Wright SC (Former Justice of the Supreme Court of NSW Mediator & Arbitrator)
The Honourable Robertson Wright SC was a judge of the Common Law Division of the Supreme Court of New South Wales from 2013 to 2026. For the first five years he was also the Inaugural President of the Civil and Administrative Tribunal of New South Wales. Subsequently, he sat in both civil and criminal matters at first instance as well as sitting regularly in the Court of Criminal Appeal and, on occasion, in the Court of Appeal.
“Strata law and building regulation” Bronwyn Weir (Managing Director at Weir Legal and Consulting)
Bronwyn Weir has over 25 years’ experience acting for government regulators and has been appointed by governments to undertake reviews and advise on important reforms, including her co-appointment with Professor Peter Shergold by all of Australia’s Building Ministers to prepare a report on building regulatory systems across Australia: The Building Confidence Report (BCR) published in April 2018.
